Introduction

The aim of this module is to strengthen skills, which are essential in leading people. These are trust, dialogue and ethical skills.

We know from various studies and of our own empirical findings in form of interviews, that understanding importance of trust and ability to promote it in the work community is the most essential leadership skill to posses. Therefore "Trust" is our first learning theme. 

Secondly, we look at interaction (dialogue). Good dialogical skills in the work community are a route to deeper level of trust)

Our third theme is ethics. This allows us to examine our values and reflect what is right or wrong in our leadership and management decisions and activities. Few practical examples provide you examples of situations, where ethical decision making may be challenged.
